This is a full-time position offered for four years (1+3). The student will participate in several promising projects in the field of gene expression in stress. There is also a possibility to lead an independent project, which can be either purely bioinformatical or involve wet bench work.
Requirements:
- Experience in programming (Python, R).
- Familiarity with the bioinformatic tools relevant to the gene expression analysis (e.g., DESeq2, edgeR, STAR, HISAT2).
- Experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Satisfactory understanding of genomics, molecular biology, and gene expression principles.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability for self-learning.
